I've made this blog public for the first time.
Our position hasn't changed since the last post. We are still making our payments and surviving; though some of our current taxes are getting behind because the $6,000 monthly payment doesn't leave much to work with.
We were working hard to get caught up when we were clobbered out of nowhere with a new challenge. I have been diagnosed with Rectal Cancer. We don't know yet how bad it is or how much down-time I will need to deal with this. My health aside, I'm very concerned about my husband and the busines..
I run the office, all of the books, the household finances, and our children, ages 13 & 16. My husband has done nothing but work his butt off since this whole saga started and now he will be saddled with a whole new burden. I'm not down yet, but I expect I will be soon.
I just started a Go Fund Me page - http://www.gofundme.com/zf46ee6e6 just in the hope that a little money could be raised in case we can't make one of our bankruptcy payments. It's very important that we meet the terms of the bankruptcy so we can keep moving forward.
We are very optimistic that we will beat both the bankruptcy and the cancer. One day at a time.
